MTO (short for Mateo) is a graffiti and street artist born and raised in France. Between 2006 and 2013 he lived in Berlin however his current location is unknown. Like many graffiti and street artists, personal and background information is sparse. Fortunately his incredible and well documented body of work speaks for itself.

MTO is best known for his hyperrealistic, larger-than-life portraits. Most are black and white with the odd splash of colour incorporated. You can see much more of this artist’s amazing aerosol artwork at the online links below.
