Lupita Nyong’o was, not surprisingly, one of the best dressed at the 2014 CFDA Fashion Awards, although she received much less attention than Rihanna in her naked sheer dress.

The 31-year-old Academy Award winning actress donned a Suno cropped top featuring a plunging neckline. She paired it with cropped trousers from the same designer, Jennifer Fisher earrings, and Sophia Webster “Coco” pointy-toe pumps in stunning red satin.

How do you like Lupita’s ensemble? Her Sophia Webster pumps are made in Brazil and feature rose golden hardware, low-cut vamps, and a flamingo detail at the heels.

Lupita Nyong’o may have thrown us for a loop with her outfit pick for the Met Gala, but she more than redeemed herself at the CFDA Fashion Awards Monday night.

The style sweetheart and presenter arrived on the red carpet to fete this year’s biggest industry achievements in a pair of Suno culottes and Sophia Webster pumps that make our summertime hearts sing. Everything from the pattern to the nautical color to the cut is on point. And is that A CROP TOP? Yes, we believe it is. We are also loving the hair. If you couldn’t tell, we are really into this whole look.

After her epic entrance at the Polo Classic last week, we think it’s safe to say that this lady knows how to stay super cool despite the rising temperatures.
