Father and redditor dopplerizer captured this smile-inducing scene of his daughter at the Monterey Bay Aquarium in Monterey, California.

The picture, which was taken on his iPhone, was submitted to reddit on Sunday where it reached the top spot on the front page and has already been viewed over a million times (yes, reddit is gigantic). Other users quickly contributed their edits, creating movie posters, funny photoshops and of course animated gifs.

In this amazing capture, we see Japan’s iconic Mount Fuji from space. The photo was taken by an astronaut onboard the International Space Station on 27 May 2010 using a Kodak DCS460 Electronic Still Camera with a 800 mm lens.

Mount Fuji, located on Honshu Island, is the highest mountain in Japan at 3,776.24m (12,389 ft). An active stratovolcano that last erupted in 1707–08, Mount Fuji lies about 100 kilometres (60 mi) south-west of Tokyo and can be seen from there on a clear day. Mount Fuji’s exceptionally symmetrical cone is snow-capped several months a year.

KVAL-TV Reporter/Fill-In Anchor Chris Liedle took this amazing photo of a storm cloud and rainbow last week in Eugene, Oregon. Chris said he took the shot whilst hiking Spencer Butte, a prominent landmark in Lane County, Oregon, on the southern edge of Eugene, with an elevation of 2,058 feet (627 m).

Spencer Butte is accessible from Spencer Butte Park and has several hiking trails to the summit. The tree cover on the butte is predominantly Douglas-fir, however the butte is treeless at its summit. The butte is the tallest point visible when looking south from downtown Eugene.

The photo itself was tweeted in response to another ‘rainbow storm cloud’ that was spotted by Victor Gensini in Norfolk, Colorado.

Kris Jenner Can"t Explain Jaden Smith"s Batman Costume, But She Was Cool With It - Webmaster News

New Post has been published on http://www.outils-webmaster.eu/kris-jenner-cant-explain-jaden-smiths-batman-costume-but-she-was-cool-with-it/

In the midst of the secrecy and over-the-top rumors surrounding Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s wedding came perhaps the one single thing that we knew to be true — Jaden Smith wore a white Batman costume to both the ceremony and the reception.

Born and raised among the Hollywood elite, the 15-year-old is the son of superstar parents Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith and a close friend of the Kardashian family. (He’s also rumored to be dating Kylie Jenner). His Batman suit, however, isn’t something you’d expect from an A-lister’s son — not to mention it’s not the first time we’ve seen Jaden in a superhero costume.

Thankfully everyone’s favorite momager, Kris Jenner, stopped by HuffPost Live on June 5 with not so much an explanation as much as an acknowledgement of Smith’s outlandish attire.

“He is the greatest kid in the world. I’m very close to Jaden and he’s like one of my own, you know,” Jenner told HuffPost Live host Caitlyn Becker. “And he had this Batman costume on and I thought it was just genius. When you look at it … it sounds just crazy. It was beautiful. He looked so good, and so fun, and he also has a really good sense of humor.”

And, yes, Jenner confirmed that Jaden did indeed wear the costume the whole time.

“But actually, the Batman costume was really cool and fabulous, and it was white and it was almost like, ‘Oh, there’s Jaden in his Batman costume,’” Jenner explained. “It wasn’t like a crazy thing. It was actually really fun, and he added such a, you know, humor to the night and it was great.”

Jenner also revealed that Jaden turned out to be a bit of a hero in his own right as she misplaced the shoes she needed to wear back to Paris the morning after the wedding. Rather than slip on the seven-inch designer heels she wore for the ceremony, she turned to Smith and asked, “‘Jaden, where’s your Batman boots?’… And I borrowed them,” she said. “So, Batman saved the day.”

Basically, Jenner can’t really explain why Smith chose to dress up like Batman, but she didn’t hate it.

During a visit to the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro; Lee Thompson, founder of the Flash Pack travel company, was granted permission by the Brazilian tourist board to scale to the top of the statue for the ultimate selfie. The statue was under repair after a lightning storm and it took Thompson 25 minutes to climb to the top (through a set of narrow steps inside).

Cristo Redentor (Eng: Christ the Redeemer) is a statue of Jesus of Nazareth in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; considered the largest Art Deco statue in the world and the 5th largest statue of Jesus in the world. It is 39.6 metres (130 ft) tall, including its 9.5 metres (31 ft) pedestal, and 30 metres (98 ft) wide. It weighs 635 tonnes (625 long,700 short tons), and is located at the peak of the 700-metre (2,300 ft) Corcovado mountain in the Tijuca Forest National Park overlooking the city. The iconic statue is made of reinforced concrete and soapstone, and was constructed between 1922 and 1931. [source]

Lara Stone Reveals She Lost A Modeling Job Because She Was Pregnant - Webmaster News

New Post has been published on http://www.outils-webmaster.eu/lara-stone-reveals-she-lost-a-modeling-job-because-she-was-pregnant/

Lara Stone recently revealed she lost a job after she found out she was pregnant. Here, the Dutch model poses as she arrives for the screening of the film ‘The Search’ at the 67th edition of the Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, southern France, on May 21, 2014. | ALBERTO PIZZOLI via Getty Images

Pregnancy apparently cost supermodel Lara Stone a job.

The 30-year-old beauty found out she was pregnant with her first child with husband David Walliams before an important modeling gig in 2012. She decided to tell those who had booked her that she was expecting, but when she arrived on the job, she found out she had been replaced.

“I was really upset at the time,” Stone told Porter magazine, per the London Evening Standard. “I hadn’t yet had my three-month scan and I felt really vulnerable about everything. I no longer had a job. That was it — I had to just stop everything that I knew; the way my life was.”

She gave birth to a baby boy in May 2013 and is getting back to work, but the transition has not necessarily been easy.

“I’ve had a few meetings because when they hear pregnancy they freak out a bit,” she told Porter, “so they need to see if I fit in their clothes. Everyone’s so nice to you all the time. And it’s like, ‘Ugh,’ you don’t have to be. It feels quite alienating because it’s like everyone’s just lying to you. Because everyone’s like, ‘You’re great!’ And you’re, ‘Well, obviously I’m not.’”

Stone spoke out about the difficulties she faced during and after pregnancy in Clean & Lean Pregnancy Guide, a book authored by her trainer, celebrity fitness guru James Duigan.

“I was in maternity jeans at nine weeks. I was bloated all over, had limp greasy hair, no energy and I could eat (and waddle) for England,” she wrote. After giving birth, she had to deal with cruel comments in the tabloid about her body. “There is so much pressure these days to look fantastic during pregnancy and to lose the weight within days of leaving [the] hospital. I have nothing against hose who do, but it’s not normal. Your body changes hugely during pregnancy and it takes time to go back.”

The Biggest Name in Luxury You"ve Probably Never Heard of... - Webmaster News

New Post has been published on http://www.outils-webmaster.eu/the-biggest-name-in-luxury-youve-probably-never-heard-of/

2014-06-05-MoneybagbyMarcMarmel.jpg

I was first introduced to work of Marc Marmel by Gay L. Harwin, who is, in addition to being one of the most influential attorneys in Los Angeles, one of the chicest women I know. Over lunch one day, I took a particular liking to her luxuriously worn Herman bag and asked about its provenance which led to the revelation that the bag had been designed by Marc Marmel, a name that up until that point I had no familiarity with whatsoever. Subsequent to that conversation, Mme Harwin introduced me to the designer himself and a new love affair was born.

Sitting in Marmel’s unassuming showroom in Los Angeles on my first visit after that fortuitous introduction, I had the opportunity to view the designer’s collection in full, an experience which in conjunction with Marmel’s detailed description of the loving care that goes into the production of each bag, only cemented my passion for all things Marc Marmel.

Fittingly, the inspiration for the former CAA agent turned designer’s first collection was born on a trip to the French Riviera where Marmel realized that there was a niche for a line of luggage that hearkened back to the golden era of travel, where style extended beyond the mere head to toe but also to the bags with which one traveled. From that flash of inspiration, Marmel created a line of six signature bags, each featuring the cracked Italian calfskin leather and vibrant patterned, hand-designed silk brocade linings that would become his hallmark. Bergdorf Goodman, Harrod’s and Maxfield’s, among others, signed on to carry the line, celebrities including Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler, Charlize Theron, Cameron Diazand David Beckham snapped up the collection and Marmel was named Accessories Designer of the Year by Fashion Group International, proving that his initial instincts about there being a certain longing for the style of a bygone era could not have been more on point.

I caught up with Marmel post his showing in Paris earlier this year to find out what new treats he had in store for his collection which has grown substantially since its inception and discovered that there is more than a little for stylish travelers to get excited about. First up, there’s the new black ‘Moneybag’, a substantial day-bag carryall that was inspired by an actual Wells Fargo Bank money bag and designed with the modern man in mind. It’s the ideal thing for an overnight trip.

“I like the idea of turning at utilitarian bag into something more elegant.”Marmel explained of his creation at my request. “[The Moneybag is very functional... [and]… it goes with my style of vintage inspired pieces.” Ditto for the newish Dopp Kit bag, a classic take on a men’s valet bag, which boasts a thoroughly modern zip out plastic bottom and a classic design borrowed from a favorite piece that belonged to Marmel’s grandfather, which was subsequently lost and reborn in the current collection almost out of sheer necessity.

For the ladies, there’s a new Cigar Duffle and a mini-version of the popular Jaxx bag, both of which are perfectly elegant travel accoutrements. Meanwhile for the home, Marmel has designed picture frames and photo albums reminiscent of old Englsh manors and libraries, rightly pointing out that “the look [of his collection] lends itself to anything home-related.”

In addition to new pieces, some old favorites like the Rolling Bag have been reimagined and improved, while more exciting designs are on the horizon. Next up is backpack inspired by the rucksacks carried by French children en route to boarding school and a new piece Marmel casually describes as “a really cool simple soft shoulder bag with a flap for women.” That said, though the shape is basic, Marmel says “the dimensions [of the new bag] are perfect. It kind of resembles a pocket. No hardware.”

A wine caddy with enough capacity for several bottles of wine and a

“Deux Pad” which will accommodate both an iPad and a traditional note pad that Marmel promises will bring the “old and new worlds together” are also in the works.

No, you may not have heard the name Marc Marmel before now but from this point forward, I feel relatively confident that you will be glad that you have.
